38A: Clause 5, page 6, line 8, at end insert— “(3A) The Secretary of State may not make regulations under this section to prevent or restrict the use of the pint in the marketing of—(a) draught beer or cider, or(b) milk in returnable containers.”Member's explanatory statement This amendment would clarify that regulations under Clause 5 could not prevent or restrict the use of the pint in the marketing of draught beer or cider or milk in returnable containers.
