Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill

Contribution

In the coverage in the local newspapers, people said that this event is already under enormous pressure that it was not under a few years ago. The event organisers of Buckley jubilee now need to complete a full risk assessment, including and with reference to a traffic programme of works; to produce a method statement; to have a consultation with Flintshire’s road space manager; to provide public liability to the value of millions of pounds; and, in addition, there is a regulator coming round the corner who will tell them they also have to watch out for terrorism in Buckley. I am not saying that nobody will go to Buckley and plant a bomb, but it is not that likely.
