Of course, a major concern is generative AI’s ability to produce deepfakes that mimic trusted people and organisations. To address this, the Home Office is working with DSIT, the Alan Turing Institute and other departments to develop a strong framework for detecting deepfake media, including fraudulent documents and synthetic audio.
