50: Clause 32, page 17, line 27, leave out “local weights and measures authority” and insert “relevant enforcement authority in England and local weights and measures authority in Wales” Member’s explanatory statement My amendments to this clause, clauses 33 and 35 to 39, 44 and 47 and my new clauses inserted after clause 39 collectively ensure that the licensing provisions may be enforced in England concurrently by local weights and measures authorities and by district councils that are licensing authorities.
