National Insurance Contributions (Secondary Class 1 Contributions) Bill

Contribution

Again, for the clarity of the record, the Minister has just said about GPs something which completely contradicts what it says on WWW.GOV.UK. It is about whether a GP practice can claim employment allowance. It says: “There is no entitlement to the Employment Allowance, because the majority of the work done, is wholly or mainly of a public nature”. Since it says on GOV.UK that GPs cannot claim the employment allowance, can the Minister write to the Committee to clarify the contradictions between the website and what he has just said in his answer?
