National Insurance Contributions (Secondary Class 1 Contributions) BillContribution
Retailers have warned of closures. They estimate an impact of £7 billion in extra costs, due to the whole Budget, as they grapple with higher national insurance contributions and other measures. Many are household names and very big employers, such as Amazon UK, Tesco, Next and Asda. The British Retail Consortium warns that job losses, price rises and shop closures will be inevitable.
