Lyn Carol Brown, having been created Baroness Brown of Silvertown, of West Ham in the London Borough of Newham, was introduced and took the oath, supported by Lord Kennedy of Southwark and Baroness Smith of Basildon, and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.
