In conclusion, the points noble Lords have made about potential environmental damage are perfectly valid. We always recognise that there are tensions in the pursuit of net zero. I understand the concerns about pylons, for instance. On the other hand, we have to make progress and, overall, by going towards net zero we will be protecting nature and biodiversity from the impacts of further climate change.
