I recognise that transparency cannot apply to all collection of public data. For instance, nobody would want to influence a fraud inquiry by publishing data that might affect the outcome of that inquiry. However, I remind the Minister that when this was discussed on the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill, she tabled Amendment 74 in Committee, calling for the insertion of the mandatory use of the ATRS, almost exactly along the lines of my amendment.
