70: Clause 68, page 76, leave out lines 17 and 18 and insert— “7. For the avoidance of doubt, consent as defined here is not sufficient for the purposes of Article 6(1)(a) (lawful processing) and Article 9(2)(a) (processing of special categories of personal data).”Member's explanatory statement This amendment would mitigate the lowering of the threshold for a data subject to be deemed to have given consent.
