Israel-Gaza Conflict: Arrest Warrants

Contribution

I will return briefly to the Foreign Secretary’s statement on 2 September, in which he said that “suspending all licences for the F-35 programme would undermine the global F-35 supply chain that is vital for the security of the UK, our allies and NATO.”—[Official Report, 2 September 2024; Vol. 753, c. 39.] He went on to set out how the suspension of arms licences would apply to the direct sale of F-35 components to Israel but would not apply to the global supply chain. That continues to be the position.
