Water (Special Measures) Bill [HL]Contribution
United Utilities has 205 separate criminal convictions, more than any other firm. Thames Water has 187 convictions and South East Water has 174. United Utilities has now become the first water company to be hit with a special enforcement measure by the Information Commissioner’s Office over failure to comply with transparency laws. Companies are not even being honest with the people or the regulators.
