I was pleased to see Amendment 25 in the name of the noble Lord, Lord Sikka, which aims to deliver parliamentary oversight with a similar mechanism to that set out in my Amendment 27. I hope the noble Lord will be open to working with us on these Benches and others across the House to ensure that the rules Ofwat decides to impose on the water sector are appropriate and effective.
