In a similar vein, my noble friend Lord Remnant has tabled Amendment 18, which seeks to prevent performance-related pay rules applying to individuals below board level. The current drafting of this clause gives Ofwat almost carte blanche to apply the performance-related pay rules to any employee it wishes to specify.
