I believe that we are not doing justice to the Government’s Bill if we do not carry either the amendments before us this evening or a version—a much-improved version, I am sure—that the department and its legal team could come up with. It is unacceptable for sewage to continue to enter watercourses, to go into the rivers and the sea because we are not dealing with it at the time the houses are being built. I welcome support from across the Committee in this regard.
