We are absolutely clear that consumer standards are a vital component of performance. For that reason, the legislation already requires that Ofwat must set rules to involve consumers in decision-making that affects them in companies. In designing the rules on performance-related pay, Ofwat must include performance standards related to consumer matters. I hope that the noble Lord is reassured by that.
