I want to ask the Minister these questions. What modelling have the Government undertaken of the impact of this Bill on projected replacement rates? What assessment has been made of the interaction between this Bill and the Pension Schemes Bill on long-term adequacy? Have the Government analysed the effect on basic rate taxpayers with student loans? Have they modelled employer behaviour responses and the potential reduction in employer contributions? If that work has been done, let us see it. If it has not, then surely the responsible course is to commission an independent review before commencement.
