Crown Estate Bill [HL]

Contribution

I turn to Amendments 38 and 41, tabled by the noble Baroness, Lady Vere, and the noble Lord, Lord Wigley. Amendment 41 would alter the commencement of the Bill so that it comes into force two months after the publication of a fiscal framework between the Treasury and the Crown Estate. Amendment 38, in a similar vein, would bring the Bill into force two months after a revised framework document, which governs the relationship between the Crown Estate and the Treasury, has been laid before Parliament and the relevant Secretary of State has arranged for a tabling of a Motion for resolution on the document in each House.
