I would like to amplify the point about the SPS. Our farmers will be naked in their defence or in their armoury against black grass. Let black grass get a foothold in one year, and it will take us 10 years to get rid of it. I know from personal experience, having sat on the combine, that when you go through a black-grass infestation in wheat, as an example, the yield monitor goes from 10 tonnes to 1 tonne.
