Agriculture (Delinked Payments) (Reductions) (England) Regulations 2026Contribution
I was asked by the noble Lord, Lord Redwood, about support for new entrants. The Government want to see a thriving farming industry that is attractive to new entrants. We are working hard to address the underlying challenges facing the sector, including through supply chain reform, planning reform and the 25-year farming road map, which builds on the farming profitability review. Clearly, we need a farming industry that is buoyant and strong enough to attract people to want to go into it.
