The regulations also include a new power allowing the Secretary of State to direct suppliers to communicate additional information about the scheme directly to successfully data-matched core group customers. Households that are not automatically matched by DWP will continue to be notified by the Government and directed to the warm home discount helpline to determine their eligibility for the core group rebate. By extending the warm home discount scheme in Scotland through these regulations, we are securing support for the rest of this decade.
