Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill

Contribution

I am a democrat. I used to be an MP; I lost, and now I am here. It is the choice of the Commons whether to decide to use the Parliament Act for this Bill. That is their privilege, which I respect. But I hope they look at the issues that have been raised in this House and look carefully at what has gone through, not only in the Commons but here, and at the unanswered questions, when considering whether the Bill before us today is the right Bill to achieve the ends that they wish.
