Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill

Emma Bray, aged 42, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease and experienced rapid deterioration over two years before passing away in July 2025. A mother of two, she spent her life protecting victims of domestic abuse. The only legal control she could exercise at the end of her life was to stop eating and drinking. She knew exactly what that meant. She said that voluntarily stopping eating and drinking
