What does not help is the way in which, in many cases, this House is being used to propagandise that we have in some way done this wrong—that is why we are having this debate now and not continuing our debates on the important issue of the National Health Service and how it is going to be affected. Why does the sponsor of this Bill want to avoid that debate, which is crucial to the future? He should not have to have it, because it should have been there in a government Bill in the first place. I say to the House simply that I object strongly to being told that my learning was in some way done by filibustering. It was, in fact, the most revelatory of discussions.
