Sustainable Aviation Fuel Bill

Contribution

I do not know which way the Minister will respond to the noble Baroness’s amendment—no, I think I do know; he will say no to it, because it is his métier to say no to amendments from the Opposition Benches, so he will say no to it. But, while he is saying no to it, I wonder whether he could reflect on that very interesting question that, surprisingly, until the noble Lord, Lord Berkeley, raised it, we have not discussed in the course of the Bill: whether there are by-products of HEFA that might have a market value and how that value could be calculated and accrued in the formulation of the levy.
