Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill

Contribution

Two groups of eating disorders were identified. First, the noble Baroness, Lady Finlay of Llandaff, identified people who eat only one particular thing. I myself have experience of fruitarians and the consequences of eating only fruit—it may be very bad. Those who have a limited, particular intake are covered by Amendment 87. A separate group, the bulimic group, gives rise to different sorts of problems. I will consider the position of bulimics, but I do not want to create any expectation that that would lead me to table any further amendments. It may be that other people will table them in the light of what I have said, in which case I will of course consider them, but I think that might be a slightly different category.
