Lord John of Southwark (Lab)

Speaking in the House of Lords on 18 June 2026

Debate

Child Poverty

Contribution

We must show renewed urgency in demonstrating that the UK is open for business and is the genuine incubator for growth. If we can do that, we can be confident that this Labour Government are the Government who will end the scourge of child poverty, perhaps for a generation and beyond.
