With deepfake and disinformation in the online space, if we do not regulate and legislate to protect our democracy and protect those who decide or dare to stand—increasingly, it is a matter of daring to stand—we will regret it. This is our opportunity. This is the time to act, not to leave it till later. I hope that my hon.
