I back all the changes being made on overseas donations, and I commend the work that Philip Rycroft did. We can all see the influence of foreign money and activity in our communities. I have seen it in my community, where there was targeting of local mosques by Russian agents on Telegram, and we see it in our local social media; but we have to admit, when it comes to money and mega-donors, that we have a home-grown problem, too. If we do not deal with it now in this legislation, ahead of the next generation, we will be playing whack-a-mole.
