Representation of the People Bill

Contribution

The data shows how quickly things are changing for some. In 2020, the Reform party had just four donors who made a reportable donation. In 2025, they had 77. A quarter of all Reform’s funding comes from people donating more than £100,000. That is how quick the process is happening. This year alone, the Reform party took £9.9 million—more than the Government and opposition parties put together. Some £8 million of that came from just three people, all of whom have a UK postcode. Nothing in the Bill as it stands will affect that. That is £3 million more from Christopher Harborne, who helped trigger the Clacton by-election.
