I know that the Prime Minister is committed to safeguarding our electoral system, and I and all the MPs who signed my new clauses want to work with him to set the UK on a road to free, fair and modern elections. Let us represent the people freely and fairly, and let us make votes matter. We must ensure that power is transferred back to a reformed Parliament and then passed into every part of these islands, rewiring our whole system.
