This amendment would ensure that, in determining whether a registered party has taken reasonable steps to verify or ascertain whether a company or LLP satisfies the significant control test, account is taken of a notice given under section 790LC of the Companies Act 2006 (duty to notify registrar of unconfirmed persons with significant control).
