Timothy John Smith, CBE, having been created Baron Smith of Ranmoor, of Ranmoor in the City of Sheffield, was introduced and made the solemn affirmation, supported by Baroness Kennedy of Cradley and Baroness Batters, and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.
