According to the Defence Council’s RFCA regulations, appointments of members of boards are already made in accordance with Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments guidance. Procedures for this are specified in regulations and incorporated in each RFCA scheme of association, with senior appointments, such as regional chairs, approved by the Defence Council.
