Furthermore, the NAO said that the MoD would need to consider how best to retain the benefits of the RFCAs’ local identities and connections. The route the MoD has opted to follow will, in fact, remove the benefits of the RFCAs’ local identities and connections, rather than building a bespoke organisation that retains the strength, and the local and national identity, of the current structure and addresses the risks identified.
