Withdrawal Agreement (Windsor Framework and Governance) (Amendment) Regulations 2026Contribution
The Explanatory Notes for the 2020 Bill, which inserted Section 15C into the withdrawal agreement Act, make clear that it was inserted to provide a dedicated section of the 2018 Act for the purposes addressed by Section 15C—Clause 35 in the 2020 Bill—to provide a safeguard. The Explanatory Notes to the 2020 Bill set out the purpose of Clause 35:
