I would argue that it is value for money for the Government to encourage this investment to help decarbonisation; it is recognised, valued by consumers and welcomed by the broader public as an option for consumer choice to help them to deal with the big challenges we face as a country and move forward in decarbonisation. As with other technologies supported through the scheme, grant levels will remain under review, but we judge that the grant is set at the appropriate level in the current context.
