The concern of the company that is developing this is that it can get most of these raw materials from somewhere in the UK or from other UK ports, but as making the lithium is going to be a continuous process it cannot risk these other materials not turning up. It has quite a big stockpile, but even so it wants some assurance that it will be able to get materials in by rail.
