Railways BillContribution
My final amendment, Amendment 327, is about consulting disabled passengers before unions can give notice of industrial action. The reason for this is that the DfT’s own research into rail strikes found that passengers with mobility, memory or learning disabilities were more likely than non-disabled passengers to say that making alternative arrangements was simply not feasible. Disabled passengers were also more likely to report a loss of earnings as a result of a strike.
