Railways BillContribution
This matters because, every day, without that statutory responsibility, disabled people cannot get a ticket easily, there are no staff to help them on a train, or a wheelchair space is filled with cases. This absolutely ruins their days, and it happens again and again—day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year. Warm words without the relevant statutory duties will never change anything, but these amendments would, so we on these Benches really support them and the spirit in which they were written. We hope that the Minister will respond positively to this group.
