The Government have not included GBR companies in Schedule 19 to the Equality Act 2010, because this would apply the duty to all their activities, including those of a purely commercial nature. That might include, for example, property development or consultancy services. These activities are not relevant to supporting disabled people to travel, nor to the other public activities that GBR will undertake. I hope that will allow the noble Baroness not to press her amendment.
