As far as judicial review and consultations are concerned, my understanding is that you can use AI to assist in assessing responses to a consultation, provided that you always abide by the Gunning principles set out by Stephen Sedley QC, as he then was, in R v Brent London Borough Council, ex parte Gunning, approved by the Supreme Court in ex parte Moseley in 2014.
