Other protections that I have put forward or supported include a presumption against prosecution for veterans; proper oversight; proper consideration of intelligence and rules of engagement; proper representation on the victims and survivors group; an end to new inquests; and enshrining the right to anonymity. Sadly, we will not get time to consider any of those protections as this is a Committee of the whole House.
