I also think about the families I know of people who were in the Royal Ulster Constabulary, the Ulster Defence Regiment or the regular Army—families who are part of my life and my friendship group. I have in my office, to the side of this Chamber, a medal from the Army Benevolent Fund—an Army charity that I volunteered with for many years. It is the Sefton medal; obviously, we remember the story of Sefton and all those murdered in that attack. Someone gave me the medal because they said it was about the triumph of good over evil. I worry about the narrative that is emanating. My party did not agree with violence at any stage of the troubles. We did not care whether it came from paramilitaries or a state actor—all of it was wrong, and we have said so many times. The hon. Member for Foyle has mentioned the Reavey family. I also have in my office a memorial plaque from Eugene Reavey, whose brothers were so brutally murdered. I first met Eugene nearly 10 years ago, and I was proud to be in court with him earlier this year.
