Northern Ireland Troubles BillContribution
I turn to amendment 286, in the name of my hon. Friend the Member for Gower (Tonia Antoniazzi). She has given the reasons for tabling the amendment, so I want to talk about some of the practicalities. I started my first job in the NHS in the 1980s in the medical records library. I know how difficult it can be to find records. They have to make sure they are put in the right place so that they can be traced and used. Things had been done in exactly the same way for 20-odd years at that point. In the following 30 years, how we stored and kept records, and how we maintained all of those processes through building after building and from move to move, changed.
About Hansard
Hansard is the official verbatim record of proceedings in the UK Parliament. Every word spoken in the Commons and Lords is recorded and published — this page is a single contribution from that record.
