Government amendment 251 requires a statement on the actions taken by both Governments under the joint framework before the principal operation provisions come into force. We need more than a statement; we need the information, the files and the evidence. The Irish Government cannot demand accountability here and avoid it at home. The same scrutiny must apply on both sides of the border.
