Northern Ireland Troubles Bill

Contribution

I think of those who escaped across the border. I think of the person who killed Winston Donnell. They escaped into Clady village, across the bridge and across the border. I think of the three-man IRA team who killed my cousin and his companion and friend, Daniel McCormick. They fled across the border as well. On that December morning—10 December 1971—two of them went down the lane. It was cold and there was frost in the air. They stopped to pick up a third man. The third man had set the two of them up, and the three of them then escaped across the border. Justice for victims and for those in uniform—where do I see it in this Bill?
