Northern Ireland Troubles BillContribution
New clause 50 applies well-established prosecution principles of independence and public interest. It has my support, too, and I am very glad that my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has adopted it. I thank the right hon. Member for Goole and Pocklington (David Davis) for his work on this. Clearly, judging by the plaster cast on his arm, he was so excited by the Secretary of State accepting the amendment yesterday that he celebrated a little too hard, but I hope he is well.
