Northern Ireland Troubles Bill

Contribution

I say to the Secretary of State that it is by making choices such as those that he has given the Bill a bad name. Unless and until those inequities are addressed, some balance is put in and Loughgall is treated as any other inquest request would be and sent to the legacy commission—that is the proper body to deal with these things—he is but digging deeper into the loss of public confidence that attaches to aspects of the Bill.
