Northern Ireland Troubles Bill

Contribution

That is a fatal mistake in the Bill, but it can be rectified. I am pleased to support amendment 51, tabled by the right hon. Member for Goole and Pocklington, which would do justice by removing Loughgall from the inquest parameters. That is what a self-respecting Government who care about the reputation of their special forces should do. It is not too late for the Secretary of State to do the right thing in that regard.
